Overview of the Rutherford Quilt Guild

This is a young Guild. On the evening of May 11, 2009 about 25 women met to discuss the formation of a quilt guild in Rutherford county. There was unanimous agreement that one should be formed.  In the next few months, a name was chosen, officers were elected, by-Laws were written, and the logo was designed by Deanne Johnson. There are now over 50 members in the guild.  Meetings are currently scheduled for the second Monday of each month from 7 pm to 9 pm at the First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton, 246 N Main St., Rutherfordton, NC. The member dues are currently $20 per year. Guests are welcome.
